Refund Policy

At HMS Institute, we are committed to providing high-quality educational and compliance training. This Refund Policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and outlines the conditions under which refunds are provided.
1. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with a service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and receive a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.
2. Digital Course Purchases (B2C & B2B)
Due to the immediate nature of digital educational content, we generally do not offer refunds once a course has been purchased and accessed, unless required by the ACL.
You are eligible for a refund if:
- The course content is fundamentally flawed, inaccessible due to ongoing technical faults on our end (e.g., DigitalOcean server failure), or significantly not as described.
- You accidentally purchased the same course twice.
You are NOT eligible for a refund if:
- You simply change your mind.
- You realize you do not have the time to complete the course.
- You fail to pass the course assessments.
- You violate our Terms of Service (e.g., account sharing), resulting in account termination.
3. B2B Enterprise Agreements
For organizational clients purchasing bulk licenses, refund terms and contract cancellations will be governed by the specific Service Level Agreement (SLA) signed between your organization and Healthy Mind Solutions Pty Ltd.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email our support team at admin@healthymindsolutions.com.au within 14 days of your purchase. Please include:
- Your full name and the email address associated with your account.
- The name of the course.
- The receipt/invoice number.
- A detailed explanation of why you are requesting a refund.
5. Processing of Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed via our payment gateway, Stripe. The funds will be returned to the original payment method used during the transaction. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refunded amount to appear in your account, depending on your bank or credit card issuer.
